Memorial Day
Just in time for Memorial Day, we are getting ready to start a program at the Louis Stokes Cleveland V A Medical Center. We will deliver painted hats to patients or work with them to paint their own hats. We will contact you when the program begins.There are over 600 patients at the VA and we are looking forward to meeting all of them. God Bless America and our veterans
National Volunteer Week -April 10 - 16, 2011
We want to send a BIG THANK YOU out to all the volunteers who have helped us paint hats and deliver hats to patients over the past year. We have delivered nearly 1,000 hats to grateful patients, men, women and children, at University Hospital, Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital and Huron Road Hospital, A Cleveland Clinic Hospital.

Hat Painting event with CASE WESTERN RESERVE UNIVERSITY students and kids from BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS will take place Monday 1-31-11 and Tuesday 2-1-11. We are looking forward to working with this awesome group.
Big Brother Big Sisters After School Program with Little Brothers and Little Sisters from Apex Academy.
This talented group of painting partners had a good time painting hats for patients at Rainbow Babies & Childrens Hospital and Ireland Cancer Center at University Hospital.

CHICK-FIL-A CELEBRATES PAINT ME HAPPY.ORG with FREE food for all invited to attend on February 18th, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at their store at 35441 Euclid Avenue - (Willoughby Commons) Willoughby Ohio.
We are taking this opportunity by celebrating and inviting all those who have volunteered their time with us in the past. Also, if you know anyone who wants to become a volunteer for us, we would love to meet them and sign them up for future activities. Chick-fil-A - Willoughby Hosted the First Annual Volunteer Appreciation Day on February 18, 2011
In addition to the FREE meal they provided, there was a sign up area for new volunteers.
Katy from Case Western Reserve University and the Big Brother Big Sister After School program signed up with us as a volunteer to help deliver hats to patients at Ireland Cancer Center and Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. Others lined up behind her are anxious to volunteer also.
Andy from Chick-fil-A has been a strong supporter of Paint Me Happy from the beginning. We appreciate everything Andy, the staff and management have done for us. More events are scheduled in the future so visit our site often to learn about them.
